Bring Us To Your School!
Girls’ sports programs have extremely powerful benefits. According to research from the Women's Sports Foundation, girls who participate in sports are 15% more likely to graduate from high school and 10% more likely to graduate from college. They also develop strong leadership skills and are 80% more likely to have higher self-esteem.
Cost and transportation remain major barriers for many families. Only 24.6% of girls from low-income families play sports, and nationally, girls are both more likely never to have played sports and less likely to currently participate in sports, in comparison to boys. In South Carolina specifically, boys outnumber girls nearly 2 to 1 in high school sports.
Leveling the Fields offers free programming to Title 1 schools. By bringing an EmpowerPlay program to your elementary school, we can close this gap early and give every girl the chance to thrive, on and off the field.
We want to help schools address these disparities early by equipping young girls with resilience, confidence, and teamwork skills that will serve them in academics, leadership, and beyond. This investment isn’t just about sports, it’s about preparing the next generation of strong, capable leaders.
