For millions of girls, those opportunities never come.
Cost, transportation, lack of programs, and limited access keep too many girls on the sidelines. At Leveling the Fields, we're changing that.
Through our EmpowerPlay program, we bring sports directly to elementary schools, removing the barriers that prevent girls from playing. Along the way, they're building far more than athletic skills—they're developing confidence, teamwork, leadership, perseverance, and the belief that they can accomplish hard things.
The Play It Forward Challenge
Join the Play It Forward Challenge and earn prizes while you help Leveling the Fields fundraise to pull schools off the waiting list. Right now there are several schools who would like to run EmpowerPlay for their girls, but we need your help to bring it to them. Help create those life-changing experiences for the next generation.
Two ways to join in:
Start a fundraising page and invite your friends, family, teammates, coworkers, or community to support your campaign. (Click "Become a Fundraiser" in the top right)
Make a donation to help fund sports equipment, coaching, curriculum, and opportunities for girls who otherwise might never have the chance to play.
Every dollar raised helps open doors for another girl.
Because when more girls play sports, more women lead.
Your Impact
Every dollar raised helps remove barriers so more girls can experience the life-changing benefits of sports.
$50 — Provides a participant with her EmpowerPlay journal, snacks, and program materials.
$500 — Covers all supplies for an EmpowerPlay Program.
$1,000 — Covers all equipment for a single sport.
$12,400 — Fully funds one EmpowerPlay program, giving up to 30 girls the opportunity to discover confidence, leadership, and teamwork through sports.
